Normally, you'd think that platforming in VR, with a first-person perspective would be a horrible idea. Windlands would beg to differ. If you have your VR sea-legs, and your stomach can handle it, Windlands will give you an incredible sense of motion and acceleration, like you're moving hundreds of miles per hour, through a magical, colorful world. You can grapple onto, and zip from tree top to tree top, exploring an enchanted kingdom of wonder. While some gamers really struggle with nausea in this game, I didn't really have any problems with it. My real-life fear of heights bothered me a few times, but that's just a testament to the fact that I was buying into the experience and being fully immersed in this incredibly colorful world Psytec Games has crafted.
