It's kind of amazing to think that consumer VR really got going in 2016 and yet 3 years later, we don't have a proper VR skateboarding game. Well, we do have some good news on that front. It won't be a 4 year drought. Reason being, VR Skater by developer Deficit Games is headed our way in Spring 2020. We've all played the various Tony Hawk games over the years, and even Skater by Electronic Arts. It was one of the most popular genres in all of video games. Unfortunately, the market was just oversaturated with these types of games and people got sick of them. Now, we have the opposite problem. We've gone way too long without a good skating game, and a proper skating game in VR would be even better. We'll keep our eyes on this one!
