How often have you heard the phrase, "Dude, this game is so trippy, you'll think you dropped a hit of acid"?  Seems like any time you have a game that is even remotely psychedelic, you get the tired old cliché about it being similar to taking drugs. Well guess what... That dude wasn't lying! Thumper is like taking a hit of acid, and washing it down with a DMT & magic mushroom milkshake! This game is an audio-visual tour-de-force, and the violent rhythm action is just that... violent. What a breath of fresh air, in an industry that likes to make the same games over and over.
