Robinson: The Journey seems to fall into the love it or hate it category.  Some gamers will try out the game and find it a total bore and wonder what other people see in it. Other players will enjoy the slow paced point and click nature to the game. Some might get stuck on some of the more arbitrary puzzles and just dismiss the game entirely. Personally, I fell in love with this game. Sure, it doesn't have the fast paced action that I would have hoped for, but it does have this cool exploratory vibe that I totally dug.  Also, if VR is all about being transported to another world, Robinson will deliver you that. The game is thick with atmosphere and wonder for those willing and patient enough to find it.
