Heading into e3 2019, we heard rumors that Cloudhead Games had three different VR games in development. Turns out, one of the three games is an action/rhythm shooter called Pistol Whip. The quick elevator pitch for this game is that Beat Saber and Super HOT had a baby, and that baby's name is Pistol Whip. The idea is that you're basically like John Wick, in a John Wick style movie trailer, and you need to shoot all the baddies while staying in rhythm with the soundtrack. Sounds like a ton of fun, and the visual aesthetic looks pretty unique as well. Reminds me a little bit of Beat Blaster by Ivanovich Games and Wanted Killer VR by Playsnak. Pistol Whip is expected to release later this year.
