Although lightgun games have mostly disappeared in recent years due to the fact that they don't really work right with lcd or plasma, there still remains this hope that Namco could release a modern day version of Time Crisis. Now, Mortal Blitz wasn't made by Namco, and this isn't Time Crisis, but it's pretty darn close. You're basically on a rail shooter in this game, although you have the ability (at certain points) to jump from node to node, and you also have agency from the standpoint of ducking and dodging. The move controllers have pretty accurate tracking during this game, which allows for entertaining gunplay. Ultimately, there isn't a lot here to keep you playing over and over again, but it's a fun ride while it lasts.
