Before Facebook shuttered Oculus Story Studios, they created some absolutely fabulous VR content. lost was one of the earliest bits of content they released. I was lucky enough to go into the experience knowing nothing about  it. Boy was I in for a treat. When it first starts up, you're in a mysterious rain forest, moisture is in the air, and something large and menacing is moving about in the brush. It's crazy to think that this is a cinematic experience, but you still feel this agency. You still feel like your personal safety is at risk. Unfortunately, the experience doesn't last for too long, and it's over before you know it. It does leave you wishing it would just keep going and be a full length VR story.  We can only wonder when we will get similar content as compelling as lost.
