It's official, Five Nights at Freddy's is definitely coming to VR. Even better news, Steel Wool Studios is the developer tasked with bringing the game to VR headsets. Steel Wool Studios has already made several VR games including Bounce and The Horus Heresy. When most people think about Five Nights at Freddy's, they think about the cheap jump scares. While they're certainly going to be featured in this VR version, we can also expect Steel Wool Studios to take full advantage of what the VR medium is capable of. The sense of dread and foreboding that you can feel while donning a VR headset is exponentially more powerful than playing the game on a flat monitor. The game is scheduled to hit all the major VR platforms on May 28th.
