When Ready at Dawn was developing their VR masterpiece known as Lone Echo, they were also making a kick-ass multiplayer component. However, this multiplayer component started to take on a life all it's own, and both RAD and Oculus decided that it was too significant to be constrained within another game. Oculus wanted everybody to try out Echo Arena, because it has that potential to be a real game changer for the VR market. Could this be VR's Halo? (when it comes to multiplayer) The fly in the ointment that is holding the game back from true brilliance is the matchmaking and lack of private matches. Unless you have 8 hours per day to play this game, you'll likely get your ass handed to you while playing. It's almost like a high-school player taking on Lebron James in a game of one-on-one.
