The original Dirt Rally was one of the most beloved VR racers. PC-VR gamers and PlayStation VR players have raved about how good the game works in VR. Then we heard that Dirt Rally 2.0 was coming, and we naturally assumed that a VR mode would be coming as well. However, it was announced that Codemasters had no plan to bring a VR mode to the newest game. Luckily, Oculus stepped up and possibly made some type of deal with Codemasters to allow for a VR version to come to the Oculus Rift this Summer. Whether or not Dirt Rally 2.0 VR will ever hit Steam or PlayStation VR eventually, remains to be seen, but at least the Oculus version of the game will deliver some VR thrills this Summer.
