Way back on April 5th 2016, the HTC Vive launched upon the gaming scene. One of the best individual experiences you could have at the time was a demo for an upcoming game called Budget Cuts. To this day, the early 2016 demo for Budget Cuts remains one of the most immersive experiences you can have in VR. The developer, Neat Corporation, eventually released the full version of the game, but some players complained that some of the "magic" was lost. The final version of the title was running on a completely different game engine than the original demo. The good news, is that the original 2016 demo is still available and still free. You can run through the experience in about 22 minutes, but it's well worth your time to check it out for it's powerful level of immersion.
