Apex Construct is a game that flirts with greatness, and while it certainly comes up short, it still provides an awesome action/adventure with a highly intertwined narrative. The best aspect of Apex Construct is the story that unfolds as you play the game. This game is ideal for those of us that like to take our time and explore the world. There are plenty of slow, exploratory moments, in between short bursts of action and combat. The biggest downside is probably the single enemy type that you mostly deal with. The enemy encounters are enjoyable and intense, but a bit more variety would have gone a long way. Graphics are simplistic, yet colorful, similar to Eagle Flight from Ubisoft.
