A.D. 2047 is an interesting cinematic thriller coming from developer Recano to VR platforms like the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR in mid 2020. Recano describes the experience as an "interactive movie game". A.D. 2047 also features, "Quick Time Events", which makes us think this is less of a game and more of a cinematic experience with light interactivity. This doesn't necessarily mean that A.D. 2047 isn't worth keeping a close eye on. VR platforms have had a number of powerful and impressive experiences with limited interactivity, such as "The Inpatient" by Supermassive Games. If nothing else, the experience seems extremely cinematic with striking visual flair. Look for A.D. 2047 sometime in the 1st quarter of 2021.
