The horror genre has never been more popular that it is right now. Especially on VR platforms. New VR horror games seem to arrive daily. Yet, despite all of this, quite possibly the best individual horror experience was there from the very beginning. A Chair in a Room Greenwater was available at the Vive's launch and it remains one of the most powerful examples of the genre. Wolf & Wood Interactive take full and total advantage of the Vive's roomscale capabilities in this psychological terror epic. While A Chair in a Room Greenwater does use a few jump scares here and there, for the most part, it doesn't need to rely on that cheap tactic. Instead, it uses psychological terror cues to put gamers on edge.
